Substitute teachers have a hard job. For whatever reason and often on short notice the substitute must come into a class they haven’t attended before. It is possible they don’t know the students, but the substitute must make sure those students don’t miss out because their regular teacher is not available. Our substitutes, for a variety of reasons such as work, or family demands are simply not able to commit to teaching on a daily or weekly basis but make themselves available to substitute because their interest in and passion for teaching dance is an important part of who they are.  En Avant Dance is fortunate to have very talented substitute teachers, ready to step in and take charge when needed. Like all our regular teachers, substitutes are dance trained, educated, and experienced, sharing the same passion for dance and excitement about working with students and helping them to reach their full potential as our regular teachers.
